PETPALOOZA is a FREE event for pet lovers and a special day for your four-legged family member or other furry friend. Petpalooza is kicked off at 9:30am with a Dog Trot 3K/5K Fun Run. The event features an animal-related entertainment stage, live entertainment, flydog, agility and frisbee demos, animal races, pony rides, a variety of pet contests, an agility area, a yummy food court and the 'Yappy Hour' Beer Garden, over 150 vendor booths, giveaways and lots of activities to keep both humans and pets entertained. Leashed, licensed and well-behaved pets welcome.

    Since 1986 Ethnic Fest has grown to become the largest celebration of culture and community in Tacoma. Voted the best festival of the South Sound; this year Ethnic Fest takes place Saturday, July 27 - Sunday, July 28 from Noon to 7 pm at historic Wright Park in Tacoma, WA.

    This family-friendly, free festival has grown in size and hosts Kid’s Zones, hands-on cultural activities and experiences, performer stage, as well as numerous specialty arts and crafts, food, and information vendor booths. This year's festival will also include a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, for Youth (15U) and Adaptive Recreation divisions.

    Tacoma Freedom Fair

    Washington State's largest one day event. There is an air show with military aircraft that you have always wanted to see. Car show, huge kids zone, pet zone and of course lots of food and vendors with all kinds of cool things to see and buy.     Admission to the park is always free as are many of the events. Carnival rides and games, non-profit food concessions, entertainment main stage and arts & crafts vendors open daily at Noon. Special events include 50+ in the Park and Car Show on Friday, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Kids’ Day and Grand Parade on Saturday and Grand Finale Fireworks over Capitol Lake on Sunday.
