The DuPont Chili Cookoff returns to The Hive Market Place on May 2, 2026, with unlimited chili tastings, CASI and Homestyle competition, and a fun community atmosphere supporting local youth programs and Veterans in need. Hosted by the DuPont American Legion “Pat Tillman Memorial” Post #53, this family-friendly event invites guests to taste, vote, and enjoy one of DuPont’s most flavorful spring gatherings.
Event Description
Get ready for a flavorful day in DuPont as the DuPont Chili Cookoff takes over The Hive Market Place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This annual community event brings together chili lovers, local families, competitive cooks, and supporters of a great cause for an afternoon of tasting, voting, and friendly competition.
Guests can purchase wristbands for all-you-can-eat chili, with a second option that also includes mac‑n‑cheese and cornbread. The event features both CASI (Texas Red) and Homestyle chili categories, plus a People’s Choice vote that lets the public help decide one of the day’s winners.
This event is hosted by the DuPont American Legion “Pat Tillman Memorial” Post #53 and supports healthy youth activities in the South Sound as well as Veterans in need. It is one of the most community-driven food events in the DuPont area and gives local businesses, sponsors, and vendors a chance to connect directly with attendees.

20% discount for members of any Veteran Service Organization, police officers, firefighters, and first responders.
